Study on divider tooth loop of link knitting machine imported from germany

The chemical component and using state of divider tooth loop imported from Germany have been determined by chemical, spectrometric, metallographic analysis and hardness test. The results show that the tooth loop is made of 44Cr2 steel in Germany. The tooth loop had been annealed before use. Based on the experimental results, the recommended 40Cr steel is used as a substitute for 44Cr2. And it must be forged and normalized for use. The two tooth loops made of 40Cr steel have been used for one year. The result is that they are good to use.
