Thirty-Eight Cases with Arrhythmia Treated with Qi-Boosting and Yang-Warming Decoction

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Qi-Boosting and Yang-Warming Decoction on arrhythmia. Methods: 58 cases with arrhythmia received by this hospital from January,2012 to June,2014 were randomized into control group and treatment group,with 29 cases in each group. Control group were given Metoprolol and treatment group were given Qi-Boosting and YangWarming Decoction. The clinical effects and adverse reactions in both groups were observed. Results: The effective rate of treatment group(92. 1%) was markedly higher than that of control group(80. 0%)( P 0. 05). The relapse rate of treatment group(8. 7%) was markedly lower than that of control group(36. 4%); the difference between the two groups had statistical significance( P 0. 05). During the treatment,the routine tests of blood and urine and the ALT,CRE,BUN showed no obvious changes. For the patients with slight headache,the symptoms could disappear spontaneously after continuous use of drugs. Conclusion: Qi-Boosting and Yang-Warming Decoction has remarkable effect on arrhythmia.
