摘要
During baculovirus infection cycle, two types of virions with identical genetic substance but different phenotypes are produced: the budded virus(BV),which disseminates infection to different tissues within a host, and the occlusion-derived virus( ODV),which establishes primary infection in midgut cells. Here we reviewed the research progress on proteomics of baculovirus and related functional genes. According to protein localization on virions, the virion proteins were divided into envelope and nucleocapsid proteins of BV and envelope and nucleocapsid proteins of ODV.35 proteins were shared by BV and ODV,10 proteins were BV-sepecific,while 11 proteins were ODV-specific. The composition differences between ODV and BV proteins results in their different functions during infection cycle.
