Incident-energy dependence of angular distributions of cross section and analyzing power for the 58Ni(p,3He)56Co reaction between 80 and 120 MeV

摘要
The reaction Ni-58((p) over right arrow, He-3)Co-56 to several discrete, low-lying states in Co-56 was investigated. Angular distributions of the analyzing power as well as differential cross sections are presented at incident energies of 80, 100, and 118 MeV. Macroscopic zero-range distorted-wave Born approximation calculations are in fairly good agreement with the experimental data in this incident energy range. This has important implications for studies of inclusive reactions in which light composite particles are emitted.
