Structural effects on cosolubilization of dendrimer and propofol in water dilutable microemulsions as delivery vehicle

•Dendrimer and propofol were cosolubilized in water dilutable microemulsion.•At low water dilution, dendrimer has a significant effect on the order parameter and the microviscosity.•At high water dilution, dendrimer effect is minor since it resides at the water phase.•Propofol has no significant effect on the microviscosity and the order parameter of the ME at any dilution.
