摘要

•Long lasting tunable color phosphors from white to purple light are obtained.•Sr2+ ions can improve the reduction of Eu2+ ions in yttrium phosphate.•The material ensures the consistent afterglow decay processes.•A mechanism of improving Eu2+ emission intensity is proposed.
