摘要
Abstract Background: Chemotherapy-induced lung toxicity is one of the critical side effects in cancer treatment, and it has great influence on the prognosis and treatment. Here, we analyzed the clinical features of the patients who were suffered from the chemotherapy-induced lung toxicity in our hospital for three years. Methods: We analyzed the cause drugs, treatments, and clinical pathways of the patients who had the chemotherapy-induced lung toxicities between May 2011 and Dec 2013. Results: 17 patients had the chemotherapy-induced lug toxicities. 6 patients were Irinotecan, which were the most cases, 5 patients were Gemcitabine, 3 patients were Pemetrexed, 2 patients were Fluorouracil, and other drugs. All patients were treated by steroid treatment as soon as possible. Two patients died owing to the respiratory failure. And one patient needed the mechanical ventilation. Other patients were successfully recovered. One fatal patient had the interstitial pneumonia and the other fatal patient could not discriminate the carcinomatous lymphangiosis. Conclusions: Our result was superior to the results of past reported. Our patients were treated when light respiratory symptom appeared. It is proposed that early diagnosis and early treatment are important.
