摘要

•Iodofluorination of alkyne was carried out.•IF species was generated from IF5-pyridine-HF.•Hydroquinone was found to be suitable as a reductant.•Reaction proceeded stereoselectively.•The resulting iodofluoroalkenes were used for the synthesis of fluoroalkenes.
