摘要

•CNT coated with a sulfonated polystyrene layer is capable to absorb metal ions and induce the growth of nanostructured metal oxides.•The NiCoO2 nanoflakes loaded on CNT possess uniform dispersion and good conductivity.•The NiCoO2@CNT shows significantly enhanced electro-catalytic activity towards oxidation of glucose.•The NiCoO2@CNT is an electrode material in glucose amperometric biosensor with superior characteristics.
