摘要

•Effects of STN-DBS in patients above 75 years of age.•STN-DBS improved motor outcomes, OFF time and dyskinesia duration.•STN-DBS did not change quality of life, activities of daily living or cognitive function.•In older patients, DBS complication rates were typical except for a higher rate of post-operative confusion.
