Acute toxic limbic encephalopathy following glyphosate intoxication.

A 66-year-old man, with a history of Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, coronary artery disease, left partial colectomy for polyps, and alcohol abuse (approximate to 50 g/d), attempted suicide by ingestion of commercially available glyphosate (Round-Up, approximate to 200 mL). He was admitted to the emergency ward for monitoring and hyperhydration. First clinical and biological workup and gastric endoscopic examinations were normal.
