Performance Analyses of Quantized Congestion Notification for 5G Distributed Base Station.

The development of emerging technologies and the popularization of mobile devices put forward extremely high requirements on 5G wireless technology. Congestion may cause data delay and even data loss, which affects the quality of service (QoS) negatively in the network. The quantized congestion notification (QCN) protocol is a congestion management mechanism based on feedback. There is no chip to support the QCN protocol at present. Therefore, it is necessary to simulate the performance of QCN protocol in 5G networks. This paper focuses on the congestion control inside 5G distributed base station. We build network topology according to the real network and select 5G data sources with different priority and high frequency burst. Then we design simulation module based on NS-3 simulator. Finally, we analyze the simulation results and draw conclusions.
