摘要

•Data about the impact of metabolic surgery on HR-QOL and quality of alimentation in mildly obese patients are scarce.•Procedure was LSG-DJB, not LRYGB, considering the high incidence of gastric cancer.•Marked amelioration in glycemic control, HR-QOL and food satisfaction were observed after LSG-DJB although the amount of food intake and food tolerance were affected.
