摘要

•Eltrombopag was effective in 62% of cases of primary prolonged thrombocytopenia after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (SCT).•Eltrombopag was effective in cases of secondary platelet failure after SCT.•Bone marrow megakaryotic reserve did not appear to predict response to eltrombopag.•The need for eltrombopag was a poor prognostic marker.
