Repetitive anodal transcranial direct current stimulation improves neurological outcome and survival in a ventricular fibrillation cardiac arrest rat model.
Brain Stimulation(2019)
摘要
•Repetitive anodal transcranial direct current stimulation commenced after resuscitation improves neurological outcome in rat.•The therapeutic effects of repetitive anodal transcranial direct current stimulation on post-cardiac arrest syndrome was through attenuating post-resuscitation cerebral and cardiac injuries.•The beneficial effects of repetitive anodal transcranial direct current stimulation on post-cardiac arrest syndrome was to an extent comparable to targeted temperature management.•Repetitive anodal transcranial direct current stimulation may be a good candidate in the management of post cardiac arrest syndrome as a safe and effective therapy with minimal side effects.
