摘要

•Spectroscopic Ellipsometry(SE) used to investigate the lipid bilayer properties.•Ellipsometric measurements (Δ and Ψ) show high sensitivity to their phase state.•SE results are modeled to estimate both thickness and optical constants.•The estimated thickness by SE was confirmed by both AFM and MD simulations.•Optical constant (n) found to have thickness and phase state dependence.
