Sublethal effects of mixed fungal infections on the Moroccan locust, Dociostaurus maroccanus.

•M. acridum IMI 330189 was more virulent than B. bassiana EABb 90/2-Dm at low dosages.•Most treatments reduced per capita feeding (32–51%) during the interval of no thermoregulation.•Only IMI 330189 reduced per capita feeding (50%) when insects were allowed to thermoregulate.•Insect mortality suggested additive interaction in the lethal effects between the two strains.•For sublethal effects (feeding and fecundity) a potential antagonistic interaction was detected.
