摘要

•We examined transcranial magnetic stimulation findings in 11 vascular parkinsonism (VP) patients and 13 healthy controls.•Short afferent inhibition (SAI) and response to paired associative stimulation (PAS) protocol were reduced in VP patients.•Reduced SAI and PAS-induced plasticity were associated with poor verbal memory performance.
