Determinants and Trends of Gynecologic Minimally Invasive Surgery in Developing Countries.

Interest from developing nations in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic (MIG) Surgery is growing at a rapid pace. Outreach and collaboration between academic centers in the United States and low and middle-income countries is also increasing. We aim to evaluate and compare laparoscopic surgery in developing nations, and recommend strategies to build skill and capacity in low-resource settings.
