摘要
•Study of the transport of arsenic in cultivated soil through to edible crops.•Focus on soil, the broad bean plant, Vicia Faba and irrigation water.•Determination of total arsenic and arsenic speciation using HPLC-ICP-MS.•Use of a modified BCR-sequential extraction to determine the ‘available’ arsenic.Inorganic AsV dominated soil (90%) and root (78.3%) samples.•Organo-arsenic (MMA, 48.2% and DMA, 19.2%) dominant species in the edible bean.
