Liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry of recombinant human extracellular superoxide dismutase (rhSOD3) in mouse plasma and its application to pharmacokinetic study.

•An LC-MS/MS method for recombinant human superoxide dismutase 3 in plasma was developed.•Ni-NTA magnetic beads and tryptic digestion were used for sample pretreatment.•The results of the validation met the criteria of the FDA guidance.•Analytical method was successfully applied to a pharmacokinetic study in mice.
