Prevalence of 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography abnormalities in patients with arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy

•This is the first study to demonstrate the prevalence of FDG-PET imaging findings in ARVC.•This study provides the first in vivo evidence of myocardial inflammation in patients with ARVC using non-invasive imaging.•FDG uptake is usually present in the left ventricle and coincides with the affected areas as demonstrated by LGE uptake on CMR.
