•An on-line GPC-GC-MS/MS method was developed for the determination of 131 pesticides.•Graphitized MWCNTs, MWCNTs and its functionalized derivatives were investigated as DSPE sorbent.•This method was successfully validated for the analysis of pesticides in tea.
