Primary Penile Cancer: The Role of Adjuvant Radiation Therapy in the Management of Extranodal Extension in Lymph Nodes.

Extranodal extension of penile cancer at the time of surgery is a poor prognostic feature. In the population of patients with positive pelvic lymph nodes after resection of primary penile cancer, radiation therapy to the groin and pelvis may decrease the likelihood of tumor recurrence in the cohort of patients without extranodal disease.
