Management of calciphylaxis in a burn center: A case series and review of the literature.

•Calciphylaxis is a necrotizing skin disorder seen in patients with renal disease.•Mortality associated with calciphylaxis is as high as 80% at one year.•We report a case series of 9 patients with biopsy proven calciphylaxis.•Care includes wound management, antibiotics for infection, and pain control.•Burn centers are the ideal setting for calciphylaxis management.
