摘要

•AgNPs fabricated with Bauhinia acuminata extract was studied for entomological and biomedical purposes.•AgNPs were characterized by UV–vis, FTIR, XRD and TEM.•AgNPs exhibited high antimicrobial activity.•Larvicidal toxicity against malaria, Zika virus and filariasis vectors was reported.
