摘要

•The failed degradation of anther callose can lead to male sterile of L. barbarum.•We identified 137 novel miRNAs in anthers of L. barbarum, including 41 lineage-specific miRNAs.•We verified the expression patterns of miRNA c60806.graph_c0_20287 and its predicted target by both Q-PCR and transient co-expression in leaf.
