Sonochemical synthesis and properties of two new nanostructured silver(I) coordination polymers.

•Two new nano-sized silver(I) CPs were synthesized under sonochemical process.•1 exhibit a 2D networks with hcb layer, while 2 displays a 1D linear chain.•The uniform size of nanostructure particles can up to 82 nm for 1, and 64 nm for 2.•Nano-sized 1 displays higher photocatalytic activities than nano-sized 2.
