摘要

•Exposure to metro PM was associated with decreased HRV in young healthy adults.•The strength and lag time for effects of PM on HRV varied by particle size.•Greater decreases in HRV suggested that females were more susceptible to the effects of PM exposure.•Ambient PM from combustion source (indicated by black carbon) has adverse health effects on passengers in cabin.
