摘要
•Among Flavonoids tested in our study, flavonols and catechins have proved to be the most interesting molecules for a protective value.•Higher flavonol and catechin intake was consistently associated with reduced risk of PCa (OR = 0.19 and OR = 0.12, respectively).•Future randomized clinical trials are needed to strengthen our study and to provide evidence of protective role toward PCa risk.
