The impact of posture on the cardiac depolarization and repolarization phases of the QT interval in healthy subjects.

•QT interval is shorter in the standing position compared to the supine position.•QTc interval does not change with changing position.•Depolarization phase of QT interval is shorter and the repolarization phase is longer in the standing compared to the supine position.•The origin of T wave moves closer to the QRS complex in the standing compared to the supine position.
