摘要

•Mitochondrial depletion was analyzed in blood of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) patients.•mtDNA levels were decreased in CD4+, CD19+, C56+ lymphocytes at early stage AD.•The MFI of the mitochondria antibody was decreased in CD19+, CD56+ lymphocytes.•This study suggests mitochondrial depletion as a promising diagnostic target for AD.
