Discrimination of magnoliae officinalis cortex based on the quantitative profiles of magnolosides by two-channel liquid chromatography with electrochemical detection.

•Magnolosides were electrochemically determined in a two-channel LC.•Chromatograms of magnolosides A, B, D, F, H, L and M were measured within 85 min.•Accurate and precise quantitative profiles of magnolosides were obtained.•The profiles of magnolosides could be applied to a multivariable analysis.•Magnoliae officinalis cortex were discriminated by the profiles of magnolosides.
