摘要

•Novel sapoviruses (SaV) have been recently found in diarrhoeic stools from dogs.•Here, by baculovirus we generated virus-like particles (VLPs) of a canine SaV strain.•The VLPs of the canine SaV were employed to screen a collection of 516 dog sera.•We detected IgG antibodies against canine SaVs with a prevalence rate of 40.3%.•This finding indicates that dogs are frequently exposed to SaV infections.
