摘要

•Digestate supernatant was successfully used for the cultivation of S. salina.•The performance of P3HB synthesised by phototroph cultivated S. salina has been discussed.•P3HB accumulated in S. salina is a promising biodegradable thermoplastic.•The stability of P3HB in the molten state has to be increased.
