Unique Expression Pattern of KIBRA in the Enteric Nervous System of APP/PS1 Mice.

•Aβ Deposition and Tau hyperphosphorylation were demonstrated in the intestinal myenteric nerve plexus of APP/PS1 mice.•There was no difference in the number of Tuj+ cells between the intestine of APP/PS1 and wide type mice.•The proportions of KIBRA+ GABAerbic neurons were elevated both in jejunal myenteric nerve plexus and cortex of APP/PS1 mice.•The proportions of cholinergic and nitrergic neurons did not alter in either myenteric nerve plexus or cortex of APP/PS1 mice.
