摘要

•SRI-12742 is a novel molecule exhibiting concentration-dependent bactericidal activity against MDR A. baumannii.•SRI-12742 synergised with all of the clinically used drugs tested.•SRI-12742 has potent in vivo activity in a murine neutropenic thigh infection model, comparable with polymyxin B.
