摘要

•We developed a novel antibody for mouse vesicular monoamine transporter 2 (VMAT2).•This VMAT2 antibody is useful in a variety of immunochemical methodologies.•VMAT2 is expressed in monoaminergic cell bodies and terminal regions in mouse brain.•VMAT2 genetically altered mouse lines display differential VMAT2 protein expression.•VMAT2 antibody will be useful to study the monoamine system and related pathology.
