Long-term Toxicity and Health-related Quality of Life after Single-fraction High Dose Rate Brachytherapy Boost and Hypofractionated External Beam Radiotherapy for Intermediate-risk Prostate Cancer.

•Prostate cancer patients were treated with brachytherapy and external beam radiotherapy (EBRT).•15 Gy high dose rate brachytherapy and hypofractionated EBRT were used.•Health-related quality of life and toxicity were monitored prospectively.•Low rates of late genitourinary and gastrointestinal toxicities were observed.•Favourable health-related quality of life was documented.
