Correlation Filter Tracking With Multiscale Spatial View

Visual tracking has already become one of the most important research focuses in the field of computer vision. Due to such interference as serious occlusion or severe illumination change and so on, the appearance model of the target tends to vary heavily, posing great challenges on tracking. In this paper, a correlation filter tracking with multiscale spatial view (CFMSV) is proposed in which a group of multiscale spatial filters of different view areas is established. We adopt the filters to perform collaborative location by introducing the method of pre-location and exploiting the multiscale spatial view around the target. A large number of tracking experiments have been made, which confirmed that the CFMSV tracking method proposed in our work is superior to the state-of-the-art methods in tracking performance.
