摘要
In this paper, we evaluate the performance of Epidemic, Spray and Wait, and their versions with congestion control and Epidemic with TCP in two different set of simulations. In the first set of simulations, we evaluate the effect of network node density for map-based mobility model considering Tirana city map. In the second set of simulations, we compare the effect of mobility model on the network performance by comparing the results of map-based model with RWP mobility model. The performance evaluation metrics are: delivery ratio, hop count, average delay, average buffer occupancy. Simulations are conducted using NS3 simulator. The simulation results show that increase of node density increase also the delivery ratio. The performance using RWP is higher compared with the realistic scenarios because in the realistic scenario the nodes movement is more complex and opportunistic contacts are more rare. The usage of epidemic with TCP leads to high average delay in all scenarios because the need of sending ack packets to the source nodes.
