Correlates of current menthol cigarette and flavored other tobacco product use among U.S. young adults

•Being female Black/other race or Hispanic is correlated with menthol cigarette use.•Younger age (18–24 vs 25–34years) is a predictor of flavored tobacco product use.•Restricting access to flavored tobacco products could limit use in young adults.
