摘要

•Individualized metacognitive therapy (MCT+) targets delusion-associated cognitive biases.•The present study is the first RCT of MCT + efficacy against a control intervention.•MCT+ was superior in reducing delusion severity at 6 weeks.•MCT+ was superior in increasing self-reflectiveness at 6 weeks.•At the 6-month follow-up, differences between groups were no longer significant.
