Performance of coherent detection for FTN-DFTs-OFDM signal using receiver-side quadrature duobinary shaping

•We investigate receiver-side duobinary shaping based FTN-DFTs-OFDM signaling which is used to improving the spectral efficiency of OFDM.•This method achieves a SE of 6.4-b/s/Hz with only QPSK modulation and has a 1.5-dB BER improvement compared without duobinary shaping at the receiver.•The performance of MLSE and MAP is compared with different memory length unedr FTN conditions.
