JSTrace: Fast reproducing web application errors.

•We propose a slicing-based approach for event trace reduction in web applications.•We propose novel rules to remove irrelevant events that are not removed by slicing.•The evaluation on 13 real-world errors shows the effectiveness of our approach.•Case studies on four real-world errors validate the usefulness of our approach.
