摘要
The growth of the fleet of electric vehicles (EVs), has represented a new load to the electric system by recharging their batteries from the power distribution network. Because they require power levels greater than the usual equipment and remain connected for long periods during recharges, EVs can affect the quality of the power supply. In addition, some vehicle brands have the Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) functionality, which is the possibility of returning the energy stored in the battery to the electric grid. Characterizing these behaviors will allow the Electric Power Distributors to understand the operation of these technologies connected to their networks and to plan the necessary adaptations so that it supports a massive penetration. In this way, this work aims to identify the impacts of these EVs on the power quality. The study was carried out from an extensive set of measurements realized in commercial EVs and in real use.
