摘要
For the specific propagation characteristics of millimeter wave, in this paper, we study the beamforming design and interference management in millimeter wave cellular networks with partial channel state information (CSI). Specifically, we propose two beamforming schemes, namely eigen beamforming and orthogonal beamforming, based on the information of channel covariance matrix, and analyze the intercell interference caused by the proposed schemes. We find that the performance of millimeter wave cellular networks is greatly influenced by the number of clusters which constitute the channel, and the angular spread. This is different from traditional microwave systems with statistically independent channels. Numerical results are provided to show the superiority of the proposed schemes.
