摘要
Wireless Software Defined Network (W-SDN) is the application of SDN technology in wireless network and has been widely used in sensor network, 5G communication network, et al. Since SDN needs to install flow entries at every hop to match each data packet, then it may bring heavy burden to the wireless nodes as the wireless node usually has much smaller memory space comparing with network devices in wired network and the flow entry matching process may consume too much energy. Therefore, how to reduce the state information, which wireless node stores in form of flow entries, has a great significance to the scalability and practicality of W-SDN. In this paper, we propose a LSP multiplexing method which leverages both the concept of Label Switch Path (LSP) in MPLS technology and source routing mechanism. Through simulations, it can be demonstrated that the method proposed in this paper can effectively reduce the state information that wireless node stores, while achieve a much shorter packet header comparing with the source routing.
