Fabrication of photo-crosslinkable glycol chitosan hydrogel as a tissue adhesive.

•Injectable and in-situ crosslinkable glycol chitosan-based hydrogels were fabricated via blue-light illumination.•The glycol chitosan hydrogel provides strong tissue adhesiveness and hemostatic ability.•The hydrogel incorporated with antibiotics releases the drug in a controlled manner and possesses antibacterial ability.
