Giant chorioangioma treated with interstitial laser.

Giant chorioangioma (>4cm) is a rare placental tumour associated with adverse pregnancy outcome including polyhydramnios, fetal anaemia, cardiomegaly, hydrops and increased perinatal mortality (1). Prenatal therapy may be performed when there are ultrasound features of fetal compromise and the gestation is non-viable. Therapeutic interventions include direct injection of various chemicals and laser coagulation on tumour's feeding vessels (2, 3).
